We are located 2 kilometers (1 mile) from downtown Paro and 4 kilometers (4 miles) away from Paro International airport. The resort is perched on the mountain slopes above the airport and opposite the important Paro Dzong and historical Taa Dzong, the national museum. This location therefore offers all our guests a magnificent view of the Paro valley from the comfort of their bedroom or private verandah… as they say, seeing is believing.
Khangkhu Resort has 18 standard deluxe twin bedded rooms, two suites, a bar, bar lounge, a multi cuisine restaurant, multipurpose hospitality suite for conferences (60 persons), Khangkhu private dining with a cocktail reception room (20 Persons) and an open sun deck. The hotel is built in traditional Bhutanese style.
The rooms are well furnished with attached bathrooms, meeting specifications prescribed by the Department of Tourism for international standard hotels. In fact some of our guests have complained that our bedrooms are a bit too big and we tend to agree.
